Physical details

I am as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth.  Science tells me that I'm also as old as my ovum.  That's one of those facts that sort of ick you out when you think too hard about it, like when you reduce your digestive system to its component parts and think about the fact that you're carrying that around inside you all the time.

My birthday is December 31st.  I was born in Washington D.C.

I have a septum piercing and a small tattoo on my back.  If I had my way I would be mostly covered in tattoos, but there isn't much work for a tattooed naked model who is not willing to take cock.

Stats:
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 128 lbs
Measurements: 34B, 26, 38 (Je-zuz that's a big ass for a tiny girl)
Inseam: 32
Shoe: 8

Likes:
Comic books, making the internets, cosplay, stockings and pantyhose, stiletto heels, office dress, using technology to help the environment, Kiva loans, greening the economy, solar power, animals, craft beer, red wine, cheese, baking, Klezmer and gypsy music, bippy electronica, My Little Ponies

Dislikes:
Tomato soup, eggplant, caramel, R&B music, bigots, over-large vehicles, made up words that have gained common parlance like "conversate", words that people commonly use incorrectly like "apparently" and "literally",  nosy people, people who talk too loud but aren't hard of hearing, barbecue smell

WHY are you a model?

I started modeling to pay for college.  A friend got me a bondage gig with a hobbyist bondage photographer.  I was kinda wary, but she and a bunch of her friends had done it before and it seemed to me to be a cosmopolitan, city-college-girl kind of thing to do.  Afterwards I used my "ill gotten gains" to buy myself macadamia nuts as a treat and mused that it really wasn't bad.  I'd honestly expected to feel bothered or demeaned, but I didn't.  It was fun!

I found myself wondering if there were more photographers in the area.  I put up a modeling portfolio and was soon flooded with requests for nude shoots.  It was exhilarating, all my life I'd been the ugly ducking and now people wanted to see me in the most brutal way one can be seen, naked.  Not only did they WANT to see me like that, they wanted it so badly that they were willing to PAY for it, and pay well.

Modeling is fun, I've been able to play with boundaries, create art, meet cool people and travel all over the world.  I get to do something new and different almost every day and I'm like, a k-list celebrity or something.  I make my own schedule and I work for myself and except for the increased taxes and the expeeeeeensiiive health insurance, that's pretty awesome.  I am my own LLC.  This is the house that porn built.

WHY do you call yourself an environmentalist?

I am very concerned with the environment.  When I was a kid I was in Christian school.  A friend and I almost came to blows because she felt that I was devoting too much of my energy to matters of the world, when what was really important was saving souls.

"After all" she said, "humankind's souls have their eternal after life at stake!"

"Yes," I said, "But how can we have an after life if we destroy our planet and can't live at all?"

Everyone says "Oh.  You're going to go save the planet."  I'm not working to save the planet.  The planet will right itself, it does that all the time.  I am working to save us.  The planet will be fine, we might not be able to -or want to- live in the mess we create.

Saving the planet is about little things and big things.  There are billions of people on the planet, if we all make the little efforts that we won't really notice too much (driving less, LED lightbulbs, your own bags at the store, we've heard it all before) we will make a little go a long way, a snowball change.  Those little changes will become commonplace and then we'll be able to make more little changes and become even more environmentally sound.

Big changes need to happen too, snowballs will help, but they won't put out a house fire.  Humankind is a house fire.  Big changes like education, alternative energy, slowing population growth, rethinking food consumption, hell, rethinking consumption period, that all needs to happen!  We can do this.  I'm doing it.  I can't hear about this problem that threatens our very home and not try to help.  We are all part of the problem, I'm going to be part of the solution.  I know that you can be too and I am here to help you if you are here to help me.

Syrsly guys.   This is our planet, our home, we have nowhere else to go.  This one has to work.

WHY do you call yourself a nerd?

I have always been a nerd or a geek or a spaz or whatever.  I read a lot, I like sci-fi and fantasy, you cannot get a comic book out of my hands and I'm a life-long learner.  That's just how it is.

I am comfortable with my nerdery.  Nerds are the new black.  We run all your shit.  I think of myself as a computer sorcerer.  It's kinda like that, neh?  How does your computer work?  Magic.  I can do that magic.

l33t skillz.

I'm socially awkward and I have a difficult time expressing my ideas on the fly.  I know a lot of useless shit and I have some areas of expertise that I am really, really into.  Like comic books.  And environmental technology.  And Joomla CMS.  And My Little Ponies.

I could go on and on about comic books.  I like the endless, Animal Man, Nextwave, Empowered, Top 10.  Real life comics are great.  Teenagers from Mars was cool, Black Hole is oddly compelling.  Oftentimes I think that DC and Marvel's main books have gotten too drama-llama and I really wish that characters would start being dead dead instead of superhero dead.  Know what I mean?

I also read lots of webcomics.  For a while I dated a webcomics artist and it was cooler than being married to a rock star.

Okay, I'm going to stop there, if I geek out this page will be wayyy too long.  Okay, one sentence each about the rest of my geekspertise.  I read Wired magazine like it was porn because they're so upbeat about new green technologies.  I get super excited around the first of the month because that means Rocket Theme templates will release a new Joomla template.  I know that there are three distinct generations of My Little Ponies and I can tell you the names of all the main current ponies.

Summary

I am passionate about connecting people with the people, services and information they need to live full and rewarding lives. I work to help demystify and destigmatize topics such as mental illness and human sexuality. In this way human sexuality is a special passion of mine. It is an integral part of our lives but because of misinformation and stigma many people have difficulties connecting with themselves and others.

Only after developing awareness on the macro and micro level can problems be addressed and lives be richer.

  1. Well done! I remember our photo shoot fondly and still think of you as one of the most interesting models I’ve had the pleasure of working with. And the way you included my boys, young though they were at the time, made them feel special and made their boring vacation with dear ol’ dad that much more fun! With warm regards, Dr. C.
